SMS consent process
This is the verbal opt-in procedure for the Grassetti Brothers Work Logs program. Managers must use this script and obtain an explicit yes before recording SMS consent or requesting a verification text. This page documents the procedure; viewing it does not enroll anyone.
Script read by the manager
Record the employee’s answer
If the employee explicitly says yes, the manager records the mobile number, consent date, manager’s name, that this script was read, that policy links were provided, and the employee’s affirmative response in the employee consent record. If the employee declines or does not clearly agree, the manager leaves SMS consent off and does not request a verification text.
Verify the phone
After consent is recorded and live SMS is available, the manager requests a verification text. The employee replies VERIFY followed by the code. Successful verification produces a program confirmation with opt-out and help instructions. The app uses the employee’s verified number for work reporting. Consent does not depend on a website account.
Review and opt out
Managers maintain consent and verification records. Employees can reply STOP to unsubscribe. Changing a number invalidates its previous consent and verification. Questions: nicolas@grassettibrothers.com.
